During the month of March 2022, in celebration of Women’s History Month & International Women’s Day, Yogamazia will be joined by Guru’s Fine Indian Cuisine to hold a fundraiser for Yoga Gives Back (YGB).
YGB is a non-profit and charity organization focused on providing support to women and children in India, helping them fight their everyday living in areas such as access to education, child marriage, gender inequality, rape incidents, microloans for businesses, and overall pandemic effects.
Yogamazia is grateful to support Yoga Gives Back and serve as part of their Global Ambassadors Team. We join in their mission to collectively demand positive social change to have a more diverse, equitable, and inclusive world for everyone.
There are a number of ways in which you can support us!
- During this month, sales from every food or beverage ordered/served at the bar of Guru’s will be contributed to Yoga Gives Back.
- Join us for a Ladies Night In at the Yogamazia studio on Friday 11th March from 6:30-9:00pm. We will take some time for self-care, restorative yoga and indulge in a sound meditation. Tickets ($35 each) include dinner and drinks provided by Guru’s. Visit https://yogamazia.com/yoga-gives-back to purchase tickets.
- Bring your family/friends and come Celebrate Holi - the Festival of Colors and have some yoga fun with us at Guru’s car park on Sunday 20th March from 11:00am - 2:00pm. - Make a donation directly to our fundraising website (all ticket/sales from the above will be added to this website for tally at the end of that month).
